Pet blessing service has been celebrated here for more than twenty years. We gather at the porch of the church and hold the ceremony outside if the weather is fair. If the weather is inclement, we'll be in the narthex (entry) of the building. All are invited to celebrate with us, with or without animals.

Well-behaved or kenneled animals of all sorts, and their human escorts, are warmly invited to our third annual blessing at the Shalom Center Lawn. Again this year our service includes a time to give thanks for companion animals, as well as other animals upon whom we depend. There will be a memorial area where prayers will be said for deceased pets. Participants are invited to bring framed photos (that won't blow away) of animals being memorialized or those who are unable to attend. Light refreshments will be served to all attendees.
