Scripture
•He is the stone rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. (Acts 4:11)
•Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his mercy endures forever. (Psalm 118:1) •See what love the Father has bestowed on us that we may be called the children of God. (1 John 3:1) •This is why the Father loves me, because I lay down my life in order to take it up again. (John 10:17) Reflection
•Are there any significant individuals in your life who feel neglected, excluded or unfairly put down?
•How are you able to leave the life your live now to become a new person? •Is everyone welcome by the Lord Jesus regardless of their background? •What do you personally need to “lay down” to take up your new life? No one desired gold as much as he desired poverty, and no one was so careful in guarding this treasure as he was careful in guarding this pearl of the gospel.
