Clergy from St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Rev. David Proctor from St. Elizabeth Manor, and volunteer animal care provider and coordinator Adreana Canario will preside at this blessing of animals and "stuffed" animals. The blessing takes place in the picnic area near the animal yard. Persons of all ages and all animals are welcome on leashes, in carriers, or arms. You're invited to bring your soft and cuddly “comfort animals” for a blessing as well. The llamas, donkeys, and ducks of the Manor also will be blessed at this time.
Afterwards, refreshments and some craft activities will be provided. The Manor is located off Chestnut Street and Alan Drive, between Route 136 (Metacom Avenue) and Route 114 (Hope Street).
